Distillation of the 50 ‘top’ AI vendors? Forbes, Sequoia, Meritech
The AI vendor world has exploded with options and is perplexing. It’s hard to understand who is a leading provider and will survive.
I was initially skeptical about this top 50 list produced by Forbes, Sequoia, and Meritech Capital — are the 50 just the two venture firms’ portfolio companies? Langchain is on the list, but where is crewAI or Galileo or ? Reading through the methodology — whittling down from 1,861(!) companies to 50 — though seems robust and based on a good variety of indicators.
Surely not definitive, but it is a helpful starting point as enterprises make sense of the AI vendor landscape.
